Axel from whipmaker.com made this 4ft/16plt signal whip from black kangaroo hide. The thong is shot-loaded, i.e. the inner core is a narrow bag filled with lead microshot. This gives the whip more weight and speed, making it easier to crack. Originally designed as dog sled whips for cracking without hitting the dogs, signal whips now are mainly used for any kind of indoor whipcracking / targeting.
